1.
What got you into cosplay?
I already was into anime and basically joined an anime club at school
with my friends Kathy and Jamie, soon enough we found cosplay.com and
realised people gathered together to set up conventions about anime
and people where running around in costumes of there fav. characters!!
So we decided to try it out at Katsucon 2002 SNOW CON and have been
continuing to go strong.
2. How do you choose who
you will cosplay?
Love of a character, with a few group cosplay exceptions (but still
liked character design)
3. How has cosplay affected
your life?
W oooooooow!! Can Isay complete turn around...I was shy, artistically
bored, never went anywhere but home, 1 really close friend...To talkative
around most strangers, lots of fun costumes/comission to keep the tinker
thinking, lots of travel from VA to NH, Many friends and new people
to realate to all the time XD
4. What keeps you busy
outside of conventions?
Well I never run out of things to do between conventions with friends
needing costumes/props/wigs or personal comissions. I do have a personal
life at home with my friends and pets.
5. Do you see yourself
continuing to cosplay 5 years or 10 years from now?
YES!! Cosplay is my creative outlet and true hobby, i dont see losing
interest and plan to continue, if finances allow.
6. What is your dream
costume?
Four-Legged RedXIII from FF7, I've wanted to make this costume ever
since Katsu 2002 when I saw my first RedXIII cosplay. I wanted to make
a truly accurate creation of my fav FF7 character with glowing fire
tail, moving head and mouth all the works. I've been slowly working
on it every year and hopefully soon I can bring this dream to reality.
7. What is your favorite
costume you've done and why?
Four-legged Kirara will always be my favorite costume ever. Iit's been
remodeled 3 times and costume well over $400 to complete. So much has
gone into the creation of this costume and I've learned so much that
it will always be the best to me.
8. Is there any advise
you can give for our visitors?
Some things may be difficult or seem impossible now, but with time and
research anything can be accomplished o^-^o
9. What is the hardest
part about cosplaying?
H mmmm... that's a good question, I think before was trying to not slack
off till the last minute on costumes before conventions, but haveing
the money to be able to afford it has to be the most difficult for most
cosplayers.
10. Who would win in a
battle to the death? The King (Burger King) or Ronald McDonald? Why?
THE KING!!(no contest) He tackles people!! plus...he represents ANGUS
BEEF BURGERS!!! WOOOT
