1.
What got you into cosplay?
It looked fun.
Andria, Liz, and Dan were cosplaying Otakon 2002 as a Digi-Charat group
and they invited me to join them. The year before I had made a Duo Maxwell
costume and I noticed I was the only guy cosplaying him, everyone else
was a girl.
2. How do you choose who
you will cosplay?
I pick characters that I either look like or like. Sometimes
I get a part in a group, but I find a way to relate to the character.
3. How has cosplay affected
your life?
It got me a bunch of friends...and a wife...and a child...and
cosplayers make better lovers..sooo..yeah.
4. What keeps you busy
outside of conventions?
E-V-A-N. And various other projects. And staying out of debt
(work).
5. Do you see yourself continuing to cosplay 5 years or 10 years
from now?
Sure. Why not. By then I will be better. Once I have funding and the
right tools...awww, yeah, the world will know my name...
6. What is your dream
costume?
Ocarina of Time Link. And a Gundam Foot. I just wanna make
the foot to scale.
7. What is your favorite
costume you've done and why?
Either Aragorn or Kaiba. They had cool jackets. And Aragorn had a cool
sword, but I made Kaiba's duel disk. They were both great. (This is
agent chi, he doesn't know I'm writing this, but trust me, he's a damn
sexy Kaiba)
8. Is there any advice
you can give for our visitors?
Don't go out of your mind finding the right tools or supplies.
Make it work. Make the best of what you have and as long as you put
real time and effort into your project, it will be fine.
9. What is the hardest
part about cosplaying?
Parting with the money it takes to fund projects.
10. Who would win in a
battle to the death? The King (Burger King) or Ronald McDonald? Why?
I think the King, because he is ninja.
