1. What got you
into cosplay?
A Halloween party at my high school's anime/cartoon club. And a good
dose of insanity. ^.~
2. How do you choose who you will
cosplay?
I like to watch the series/play the games and see if I like the character's
personality. Occasionally if there's a group that needs a character
that I could do, then I get to be in a group. Milly from Trigun was
a lot like my personality anyway, and I look like her kinda, so that
was an easy one.
3. How has cosplay affected your
life?
I get to hang out with crazy people, dress up randomly and be silly,
pull allnighters in a sewing sweatshop before conventions, and run around
and take pictures of people. It's refreshing to be around people who
are so creative, don't you think?
It's allowed me to become friends with a bunch of awesome people who
I wouldn't have met otherwise. ^_^
4. What keeps you busy outside
of conventions?
School. I'm a 3rd year (technically senior) at Delaware, majoring in
East Asian Studies with a minor in music - viola. Orchestra/quartet
rehearsals take up a bit of time as well, and last year I got to studyabroad
to China as well as go on tour with Philadelphia Sinfonia youth orchestra
to Russia and Finland.
5. Do you see yourself continuing
to cosplay 5 years or 10 years from now?
Probably, if I find a character that I like. :)
6. What is your dream costume?
Belldandy, probably, but atm I'm too selfconscious about my weight to
try and make it. ^^;
7. What is your favorite costume
you've done and why?
Milly, because of the gun.
8. Is there any advise you can
give for our visitors?
We're crazy! But we're fun. We're not really as organized as it may
seem like we are. And stop stalking us, for goodness' sake!
In answer to the question, nope, not really.
9. What is the hardest part about
cosplaying?
Time and money always seem to cause issues, but then again if you get
really into it and involved in the online-ed-ness, there's drama.
10. Who would win in a battle
to the death? The King (Burger King) or Ronald McDonald? Why?
As in, which one would kill you faster?
I don't watch much TV or eat out much at fast food restaurants, but
jesters are better than kings because they can say the truth and laugh
about it.
And McDonald's has a playground.
