1. What got you into cosplay?
To be honest, I don't even remember anymore. I think it was seeing everyone walk around in costume at Otakon one year and going "Huh.. that looks like fun."

2. How do you choose who you will cosplay?
Most of the time I have to like the character or series, but sometimes it's because someone asks or I just love the outfit enough. The final choices always rest with the "will this look alright for me" decision though.

3. How has cosplay affected your life?
I've met so many fantastic and talented people because of it! It may be putting me in the poor house for the money this hobby goes through, but it's also kept me challenged, social, and given me an outlet for sanity.

4. What keeps you busy outside of conventions?
Work, friends, and games! Seriously, I'm a normal person! >_>

5. Do you see yourself continuing to cosplay 5 years or 10 years from now?
Considering I have enough costumes that I want to do that would take me five years to get through.. yes. Maybe not ten, who knows. I love doing this and the general con scene so much, who knows what I'll be doing in ten years.

6. What is your dream costume?
An artbook version of Umi from Rayearth was the first one ever on my list, and still is. I want to do it so bad, but I know I can't pull it off currently.

7. What is your favorite costume you've done and why?
Merielle! It's just too much fun, and it has HAT-PANTS! It's super comfortable, and its the one that I'm most proud of.

8. Is there any advise you can give for our visitors?
Don't take cosplay seriously. We're all dorks running around in costumes! Save drama for the real life stuff, and keep your hobbies for the fun part.

9. What is the hardest part about cosplaying?
Time management and funds. I'm a horrible, horrible procrastinator. It's the week before a con and I only have the pattern and a pile of cloth!

10. Who would win in a battle to the death? The King (Burger King) or Ronald McDonald? Why?
The King. He took down Darth Vader. Ronald is a clown who hangs out with kids. No contest.
