This just in....
June 15th-17th . Anime Mid-Atlantic 2008 @ Virginia Bleach, VA Moving AMA further south didn't stop us from attending. It's our favorite con. Even though the venue was small, it was comforting not to be in an oversized covention center. A bit crammed (okay, a lot!), but much better to see people! :D No panels this year. Relax and enjoy. We came to terms that we must be getting old since eating at a Denny's at 3am is a BAD idea. ^^;; The Masq was ran wonderfully again this year. Tikki rules when it comes to running Masqs, seriously. They only drawback was that the main events only held 200 and everyone who was in a skit, didn't have a chance to see others perform. :( We did our Lunar skit there. Tiny stage is absolutely tiny. Even though we practiced small, we didn't htink about a screen being in the back nor the stage being so close to the lights! :D We had to cut back a lot of sword movements and overall fighting. Oh well! No one died, so it's all good! :D * The Agent received Best in show for their Lunar skit. Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent AMA Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ April 2008. I-con. Stoneybrook Uni in NY. A lone member from the southern Agents traversed the rainy road to reach this convention with the northerners. Located in serveral university buildings, it definately was out of the ordinary. The convention is sci-fi/fantasy/anime... heck, everything. It was a nice change of pace. It was odd having to travel miles down the road for the hotel. The Masquerade was also odd. In a gym, no stage, poor acoustics, and one speaker that just wouldn't work. The Masq had a rough start and didn't get rolling really until an hour or so later. The MC and Masq coordinator did everything they could to entertaint he audience while waiting for speaker reinforcements. Other than that we ha d 2 panels: What not to Cosplay which is a basic tutorial panel inwhich we discuss the dos, don'ts, Q&A, explainations, and so forth. The other was Group Cosplay inwhich we discussed how to for a group, the work that may be involved, skits, and so on. Much fun! The southern Agent left and returned home only to head gasket blow in the way back. :( MEEP! Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for Agent I-con Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ February 15th-17th Katsucon 2008 @ Washington, DC Back at the Omni for one last time. Overall, we had no problems what-so-ever, but heard that wasn't the same for some. :( Jam-packed again. The art show was once again crazy awesome! Katsu has a great art show, they really do. The dealer's room was lacking, but we don't know if it's just because anime is so mainstream that finding something you " omg need" no longer happens. Nothing is a suprise since you've seen it at serveral other cons or your local Suncoast. Other than that, we got to hang out with old friends and meet new ones. Katsu's back at it's old hotel in Crystal City next year, eh? ROCK! As for cosplay, the northern part of us performed this time around. The southern part wasn't able to get everything done in time. (Gosh, weddings and holidays getting in the way! How dare they!) Nice break for some of us. :D Anyhow, they did a Deathnote skit was some crazy puppets. Good job guys!!! * The Agents received Best Overall Presentation for their Deathnote skit . Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for Agent Katsu Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ Decemeber 15th, 2007. Baltimore, MD. Weddingcon! Wooooo!!!! Agent Emi 5 got hitched! Agent KA/M are next! :D November 16th-18th, 2007. Anime USA 2005@ Crystal City, VA Old Katsu hotel!? Sweet! Love that hotel! Disliked that an ID was good enough to get a room, but not good enough for a 30 year old to get a Kalua and cream. ::winks:: But that's okay! Saved money. ^^ We enjoyed the stay there. We learned there are 50 ways to use a bandana, the Joker is frightening, Taiko Drummaster is just as awesome on the DS, Picto-chat is NOT a good idea when bored (neither is Cheerios), and it's possible to fit through doors when wearing ears. :D *Agents Emi 5 won a Judge's Award for "Neatness Counts" in the Hall Competition for her Fran (FFXII) costume. Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a list of Agent Anime USA Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ Septemeber 14-16th, 2007. T-Mode @ Crystal City, VA Well... that was... quaint? Extremely small. It seemed very unorganized. The events, besides the concerts, were lack-luster. Good side was that a couple of us had the chance to meet some new people and learn more about others. Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent T-Mode Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ July 20th-22nd. Otakon 2007 @ Baltimore, MD Chill con. Go figure, the largest con we hit and it's the big chill con. lol Beading and Embroidery panel was rescheduled for Sunday. We didn't find that out until we registered. D'oh! Everything worked out. : ) Lots of artist alley, hanging out with peeps, walking... lots of walking... The Eminence concert was AMAZING! Totally going to buy the CD. Peter S. Beagle was there as well (omg Last Unicorn!). The other autograph lines were lame. (Tried for Seki twice... denied twice even though we were in line each time. Bleh.) Pre-reg pick up on Thurs was SUPER fast. I mean, 10 minutes tops. No one shouting the Harry Potter stuff. A couple of us had a chance to judge th Masq. I'm still amazed by the system that a larger con uses! Pretty sweet! Congrats to the winners! And as I always say, keep up the awesome work!! * Agent S won 2nd place Craftsman in the Hall costume contest for her Belldandy. Congrats!! Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent Otakon Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ July 6th-8th. Anime NEXT 2007 @ Rutherford, NJ (I think. lol) One "southern" agent ventured to this con. (Read as: tricked into going by the "northern" agents. Curse you all!) Traffic... bad, but then, it IS the NJ turnpike. >> Bleh. Most of Friday was spent hanging out. Artist alley was fruitful so was the dealer's room. Saturday was pretty uneventful minus the Masq. Agent Emi 5 was a "spur of the moment" judge for the Masq. O.o Not many craftmanship entries (always get your costumes judged for the masq!! Otherwise you are left out for the "best in show" award.). Congrats to all the winners. Ya'll did a great job. Sunday was the bead/embroidery panel. Great success! : ) PS- Hentai Dubbing panel is the best ever! Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent ANext Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ June 15th-17th . Anime Mid-Atlantic 2007 @ Richmond, VA Another AMA under the belt. Can't help it, we just luv this con!! A couple of us did Hall costume judging. Thanks for letting Agent Emi 5 poke and prod your seams and Agent S for interrogating you. ::winks:: Congrats to all the winners and keep up the great work everyone!!! Let's see, the Advanced sewing techniques panel was done once again. Props (by Tikki, Ruth, and Vartan), beading/embroidery (Emi 5), and dye/painting (S). Lots of fun! We had a chance to do the Masquerdae once again. It's also enjoyable to make fools of ourselves... again. lol Kudos to all the skits involved! We'll see ya next year! * The Agent received Best in show for their Men in Tights skit. Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent AMA Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ February 16th-18th Katsucon 2007 @ Washington, DC Back from another convention! A new hotel for Katsucon. Another year at the Omni. We learned that not all hotel rooms are equal. We experienced the smallest to the largest. The largest one was bif enough for skit practice! I kid you not! This year was better than last year it seems. The photo areas were a brilliant idea, so was removing the furniture in the lobby. The hotel and con staff were quite awesome as well. The Art Show was very kind to Agents Emi 5 and Emi 3 though they don't know how much they are getting money-wise. It seems Katsu changed how they give out the money this year. Also, the Auction again was missed due to the Masquerade. SO sad!! As for the Masq itself, it was hands down the best we have ever seen. Completely entertaining and so many good concepts and costumes!!!! We're STILL in shock over the awards. We didn't expect ANY of it, we never do. ^^;; This time though was just... wow. (Note the immense crying on stage) Thank you to all who enjoyed our Sending skit. It was a pleasure performing for everyone. We look forward to next year. * The Agents received Best in Show, Best Overall Presentation, Judge's Award for Elegance (costume) for their Sending Skit . Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent Katsu Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ November 17th-19th. Anime USA 2005@ Vienna, VA Yep! A few of us went! We hung out and had some fun. : ) We learned about CostumeCon coming to Baltimore! SWEEEET! Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a list of Agent Anime USA Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ August 4-6. Otakon 2006 @ Baltimore, MD Yet again we didn't get to snag a full group shot of everyone! Everyone went but like 2 people. :( I think having a group shot is like a unicorn. As much as you wish for one, it'll never happen. Ha!!! Anyhow, this Otakon was insane. Last minute costuming, a skit, and baseball fans. Oh my! I think everyone had a great time even though there the skit was sorta stressful (just toooo much runnign around on a Saturday.) We hope everyone enjoyed the skit. We do our best to entertain everyone whether you laugh cuz we look silly or smile cuz you like it. ^^ Rock on!!! It was great to meet so many people this year! Everyone's skits rocked this year. Great job everyone! Many wishes for a speedy recovery for Riza. You wre the only thing in our thoughts when awards were given. You wree the only thing that mattered and still do. Luv ya tons! Big Kudos to Cardcaptor Will and the Masq staff. You guys were awesome. It was enjoyable to work along side of you. *Agents Celes, Bishie, Miaka, and their crazy friend Kat won 1st Place Journeyman (Friday) for their Ragnarok Costumes. So proud of you guys!!! *Agent Cloud won 1st place Craftsman (Saturday) for his Advent Children Cloud... and his ridiculous swords! (I have sword envy!) *Paul and the Agents that were involved in the skit (cuz there are too many to list. lol) won Best Overall Craftman for their Magna Carta costumes during the Masquerade. OMG!! (Which reminds me, the Emcee made a comment about us looking like we lost a baseball game while we got our award. There was something going on backstage with the cosplayer mentioned above. It was very hard to celebrate at a time of worry. Please don't think we were ungrateful. ^^;;;) Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a list of Agent Otakon Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ June 16th-18th . Anime Mid-Atlantic 2006 @ Richmond, VA and Anime Next in NJ A good portion of the Agents attended AMA while a small few attended A-Next. A good time was had by all. Yet again AMA has proven how awesome it is to attend. The staff and security were saints. Thank you SO much for a wonderful convention. We met many new people this year. It was wonderful talking to everyone. We hope to see you at future cons! We're so happy that our Bleach skit was enjoyed. Thank you so much again! *Agents Chi and KA won Best Experienced for Friday *Agents Celes, Miaka, and Bishie won an Honorable Mention for their FMA costumes *The Agents' Bleach

A new hotel for Katsucon. The Omni was beautiful especially the courtyard. Much fun was had. This year was better than last year. Every convention has their pros and cons so I will not bother with that. The Art Show was very kind to Agents Emi 5 and Emi 3. ^^;; The Masquerade was exciting. Thank you to all who enjoyed our L.I.N.K. skit. It was a pleasure performing for everyone. We look forward to next year. *Agents Chibi, Miaka, and Bishie received an Honorable Mention for their Alice 19th group. * The Agents received Best Performance and Tech Favorite for their L.I.N.K. Skit. Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent Katsu Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ November 18th-20th. Anime USA 2005@ Vienna, VA It was the first time any of us had ventured to this convention. A handful of Agents could make it. Small, yet so much to do. It was the 2nd best convention of the year in our eyes. Origami elludes us. Everyone was so friendly, events were awesome, and lots of fun was had. We look forward to next year and are dragging the rest of the Agents along! *Agents Emi 3 and 5 won First Place Saturday in the Hall Competition for their Yachiru and Soi Fong (from Bleach). Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a list of Agent Anime USA Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ November 12th, 2005. Agents Bishie and Miaka were wed. Agents Emi 5 and Celes had the honor to be 2 of the 3 bridesmaids in the wedding. What a wonderful day!!! Here are a few pics from Agent Emi 5. Here are a lot of pics from Agent Emi 3. Congrats to Lauren and Brian once again!!!!! August 19th-21st .Otakon 2005 @ Baltimore, MD It's safe to say that every Agent attended this con! Oddly enough though, we STILL couldn't get a full group photo ::Cracks up:: Oh well! Otakon was a blast! The pre-reg line was surprisingly fast. We were especting it to take a few hours since most of the con was pre-regged. Instead it took about 45 minutes to an hour. Rock on! It was wonderful to see every again and to meet new people. ::waves hi to everyone:: *Agents S won an Honorable Mention for her Skuld (from Ah My Goddess!). *Agents Stripes and IY won 1st Place Journeyman (Friday) for their Krad and Dark (from DN Angel). *Agents Emi 5 and Emi 3 won 1st Place Journeyman (Saturday) for their Miaka and Yui (from Fushigi Yuugi) *Agent Chi won 1st Place Craftsman (Saturday) for her Sakura (from Tsubasa). *Agent Stripes ended up in the Baltimore Sun newspaper in their Maryland section. Yet again AMA has proven how awesome it is to attend. The staff and security were saints. Thank you SO much for a wonderful convention. We met many new people this year. It was wonderful talking to everyone. We hope to see you at future cons! This was the first convention we did a "real" skit. We're so happy that it went over well. Thank you to CCAmanda for organizing the event! There was a good turn out this year for the picnic. Most of the Agents were there, plus Agent Emi 5 arriving 15 minutes before it ended. She says that driving from CT to Philly is insane and suggests that no one EVER do it. ^^;; Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION for a nice list of Agent Picnic Photos for your enjoyment. ^^ March 27th, 2005, A Fan's View Agent S was featured on A Fan's View. Being a small con, we didn't have to run everywhere. ::wipes forhead:: This may have been the last year for Nekocon for a good portion of us. We're seeking to be closer.... like A USA. (MUCH closer!) The Agents gathered together minus one (Agent Loki) to discuss world domination. it has begun with the letter "s" and will soon move to the letter "t". however, the roman numerals are becoming suspicious of our activities. AN AGENT OF COSPLAY! ::echos:: Please visit the GALLERIES SECTION
